Personally, I would avoid putting any money into it, especially if you were planning on buying W10, because even though your PC was released to market in 2010, the Nvidia Geforce 6150SE nForce 430 chipset is from 2005 or thereabouts. It was a workhorse chipset that HP used for many years.

Backed out the upgrade (1709) and unfortunately these are all Windows 10 Home versions with no built-in way to keep 1709 from re-installing.
The latest Windows 8.1 driver from the NVidia Website will allow this card to run Windows 10, but at an older DirectX level.
